Questions about kelpais
What does kelpais do?
kelpais predicts UK and Irish horse races. Each race gets at least one graded offering for each of three pick types: a winning pick, a money pick and an SP pick. Each shows our chance of winning beside the market's, the best price we found and what it would return at your stake.
Does kelpais take bets or place them for me?
No. kelpais makes predictions only. You place any bet yourself, with the bookmaker you choose, and nothing on kelpais is betting advice.
Can kelpais promise winnings?
No. We cannot promise winnings or profit, and nobody can. A chance is not a certainty: a pick with a 36% chance loses about two times in three. We show the picks that lost as well as the ones that won, so you can judge for yourself.
Betting carries risk. Only stake what you can afford to lose, and see our responsible gambling page if gambling has stopped being fun.
What are the three pick types?
The winning pick is the horse most likely to win. The money pick is the best value bet, win or each way. The SP pick is the best offering if you take the starting price. Every race shows all three.
What do the grade letters mean?
A grade is a label for the band our chance falls in: an A is a chance of 33% or more, and a B is 18% to 33%. Below that is the no-bet band. The chance itself, as a percentage, is the headline; the letter is only a label.
How does the free trial work?
You get three days free, starting when you verify your email. No card is needed. We email you 24 hours before it ends. Add a card to keep going; if you do not, your access stops and you are not charged. There is one trial per account.
How much does it cost, and can I cancel?
One plan, £19 a month. You can cancel any time. There are no tiers, annual plans or add-ons.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. The free trial gives you three days of everything with no card needed. Once you have an account, our results and how the picks have done by grade stay free to read, whether or not you subscribe.
Is kelpais for under-18s?
No. You must be 18 or over to use kelpais, as with gambling itself.
